Porcelain veneers in Azusa
A veneer is a thin custom shell bonded to the front of a tooth. It changes the colour, the shape or the position of what people see when you smile, without changing the teeth behind it.
What it is for
Teeth that are stained in a way whitening will not shift. Chipped or worn edges. Small gaps. Teeth that are uneven, or a different shape from the ones beside them.
What a visit involves
It starts with a consultation. Dr. Khosravibabadi will look at your teeth, tell you what veneers can and cannot do for them, and explain what the work would involve. Nothing is decided in that appointment.
What we will not tell you
We will not promise you a shade, a timeline, or that veneers are the right answer before we have looked. Some of what veneers are used for is better solved another way, and if that is true for you we will say so.
Questions and answers
Do I need veneers or whitening?
It depends what is causing the colour. Whitening lifts most staining. Veneers are for teeth that whitening will not change, or where the shape or position matters as much as the colour. We will tell you which one you are looking at.
Are veneers permanent?
Preparing a tooth for a veneer changes it, and that part cannot be undone. That is why the consultation comes first, and why we would rather talk you out of it than into it.
What do veneers cost at Hiraya?
We do not publish a price list. Every case is different, so we will look at your teeth, explain your options, and tell you what the treatment costs before anything begins.
