Teeth whitening in Azusa
Whitening lifts staining out of the tooth rather than covering it. We offer it two ways: in the practice, and as a take-home kit made for your teeth.
What it is for
Teeth that have darkened with age, or been stained by coffee, tea, red wine or tobacco.
What a visit involves
A check first. Whitening works on natural tooth, and it does not change the colour of fillings, crowns or veneers, so what is already in your mouth affects what the result will look like. Dr. Khosravibabadi will tell you that before you start, not after.
What we will not tell you
We will not promise you a shade. Results vary from person to person and we cannot know yours in advance. What we will do is tell you what to expect for your teeth, honestly, and sometimes that means telling you whitening will not get you where you want to go.

In-practice or take-home, which is better?
They suit different people rather than one being better. We will talk through both and what each involves.
Will whitening work on my fillings or crowns?
No. Whitening changes natural tooth only. If you have fillings, crowns or veneers at the front of your mouth, they will stay the colour they are, and that is worth planning around before you start.
Why will you not tell me what shade I will get?
Because we would be guessing. Teeth respond differently, and the honest answer is that we will know more once we have seen how yours respond.
